My name is Angel Rodriguez and I have almost 20 years of bookkeeping experience, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Business from Excelsior University (and an Associates degree in Paralegal studies; ABA approved). I have been an independent contracting consultant and working with small business owners to do their bookkeeping and accounting needs, for the past seven years. I have worked with almost 25 various small businesses doing just that! I have helped start several small businesses get established legally. I also file NYS Sales Tax, have my PTIN for preparing taxes (along with previous experience in personal, sole proprietor and LLC Partnership tax filing ), and file 1099-NEC forms for independent contractors (IC). Remember, if you paid an IC for services more than $600, their form is due to them by January 31, 2024, which is another great reason to get ready now and not wait until it’s the deadline to file your taxes! I also enjoy being able to give advice based on experience and financial data.

I love working on clean up projects for businesses. Then the process to keep it clean and updated feels so refreshing, especially knowing that you are ALWAYS ready for tax time and each month (suddenly or unexpectedly need your financial info, for example:  to apply for health insurance or a bank loan for business expansion that will require updated business income information and financial reports)! And then you can also be prepared with confidence for business growth and know exactly where your financial standings are!
