We will determine to see if your business’s needs are a short-term or long-term project or even a one-time clean up project to get you back on the right path.

You have something like a shoebox of various receipts and payments used for your business (and maybe personal items thrown in) and everything needs to be figured out so you know where your business stands, for financial reasons, expected business growth and for filing taxes.

You need full accounting and bookkeeping services, whether from a specific time period, or getting caught up and/or moving forward. This includes: accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, account reconciliation, sales income, tracking and paying NYS sales tax (if applicable), general journal entries, running balance sheet, profit & loss (P&L), budget reports for monthly financial reports, tracking how you get paid, all inside accounting software to keep track of everything so it’s cleaned up, efficient and most importantly, accurate. We will also make a plan for savings and business growth plans.

If you hired anyone to perform services for you that are not employees (like an independent contractor), they should have filled out a W-9 to give you and paid them over $600 in the calendar year, the IRS requires that you file and submit a 1099-NEC form to them by January 31, 2024. I can assist with anything you need to get this part of the job done.

My aspect of bookkeeping and accounting concepts always keeps tax laws in mind and makes it easier to have the correct information for filing taxes. I can either assist to get that information ready and prepared for you to submit to your accountant/tax preparer or be able to be your tax preparer as well, for both business and personal taxes.

I have assisted small businesses in getting started and continuing to help them thrive. There are some services I can provide to ease the pressure on you in establishing your business legally or direct you as to what steps to take next to do so. This also tends to be the prominent time for murky waters when accounting for all the new business expenses come from your personal accounts while waiting for the business to be established before getting the business bank account set up. I can keep track of all those items you pay for from your personal accounts and account for them in your books. We will also keep goals for business growth and track them.
